Books in the Wolf Maiden Saga Novels (Epic Historical Paranormal Romance)
From Corvallis Press
During a time of bloody gladiator games and treacherous schemes, a secret society of lycans live amongst the Romans.
When Ulric, a lycan gladiator, meets a mysterious human woman with green eyes, he’s drawn to her fiery beauty, enraptured by her alluring aroma. Unfortunately, Ulric and the beauty are slaves. To make matters worse, he can mate only with someone marked with the sign of the wolf.
Cassia’s hidden wolf mark burns in the presence of the handsome gladiator. While her heart yearns to be near Ulric, logic warns her against it—having a slave as a mate is against the lycan society’s plans for her.
In spite of the lycan society’s rules and the emperor’s brutal plots, their love grows … but their passion just may cost them their lives.
Bledig, a knight of King Arthur, carries a deep secret. He’s lycan. A beast he controls with a strong iron fist. He will not turn beast. He will not mate a wolf maiden and father lycan children. He will not leave his king.
Annora, a wolf maiden, is grounded in tradition. A wolf maiden must mate a lycan. Romance and her continuing intellectual pursuits as a scribe and historian are at the discretion of her future mate.
In the wilderness, Annora and Bledig meet. She is the beautiful woman he has dreamt of nightly. He is the knight in shining armor she had fantasized about— brave, handsome, and chivalrous. Their attraction is instantaneous. Her gallant knight is not just lycan, but the white wolf destined to unite all lycans of Britain.
Will Bledig reject his true destiny as the prophesied lycan leader of Britain and remain a knight of the Round Table? Can he deny his desire for the lovely wolf maiden, Annora, who has already captured his inner wolf’s heart?

Serenity Shields/Lovely Reads:
My Review: This book has one great twist. What gladiator have you known to be lycan. I don’t remember reading things like that together in a history book! But hey, its a fun read and I really like Ulric when he meets the mysterious woman. Also the name Ulric is one name I haven’t heard in ages, let alone read it in a book. Plus isn’t fun to say?
Ulric is so lovely…not just on the cover but by being a gladiator. The fights, blood, strength, all he has in him is brought out when he acts in the sport. You would have thought you were there watching it all happen right in front of you.
Then there is the relationship with him and Cassia. They are good together and you can really feel how things play out with them. All the descriptions and details are done perfectly. There is a good amount so that you can imagine the story. There isn’t so much that you just want to throw the book down because the details go on forever. Back to the couple…Cassia is normal to those around her, but she has one major secret. She has been trained in the art of healing Lycan, with the supernatural power of healing and her mark that makes her attracted to Alphas. Well once she and Ulric were together, it was just natural for them. Oh the fluff with these two are such a refreshing read, after reading non stop paranormal.
Now for the hard details. Cassia has to keep her ability a secret or she can end up gone or a breeding machine. Ulric has to survive the arena, which you can tell what that means. These two have to fight harder now to survive and hopefully be the mates we want them to be. Can’t be that hard when your fighting for the girl you want. Plus knowing you have a strong alpha gladiator wanting you, is enough to get anyone through things.
Now I wished this book was a bit longer, the ending just made me want more of this story. Just let it go on and on for a little longer. I hope that everyone looks at this cover for a while before reading, and then try to tell me that guy doesn’t fit perfectly for Ulric, ugh I want a gladiator now….is it to late to make my husband one?
This book gets 5 stars from me.
